The Eclipse 180° Awning is ideal for dual, single and space cabs as well as general canopy and wagon setups. Designed for quick and easy setup and pack down by one person, this awning provides 8.2m2 of cover over the length of the vehicle. With a heavy duty steel and alloy swivel hinge system on both ends, the awning spans 6m along the vehicle and features two pivoting alloy telescopic leg poles which pack away neatly along the rafters. Constructed with hard wearing proofed poly/ cotton ripstop canvas and a strong lightweight box tube alloy rafter system, the awning weighs in at 20kg and is covered by a 2 year warranty.

Add an optional wall to the Eclipse 180° Awning to complete your 4×4 touring/camping setup. The optional wall can be set up as a wind and weather break, or as an awning extension. With walls fitted and anchored down, approx. 16.5m2 of coverage will be achieved depending on height of vehicle. The walls are manufactured with Darche’s proven and hardwearing proofed poly-cotton ripstop canvas. 

CONSTRUCTION
The awning and walls are constructed using a Proofed 320gsm poly cotton ripstop canvas. The frame is a Aluminium box extrusion with steel hardware. The transit cover is constructed using laminated 600gsm PVC.

AREA OF SHELTER
The awning alone covers 8.2m2
With walls fitted, the set up covers approx. 16.5m2 depending on height of vehicle.

ADDITIONAL POLES INCLUDED
2x pivoting alloy telescopic poles are included and purposely fitted under awning arms for easy access and stowing. Each rafter has a purpose drilled hole for additional supplied spigot poles. Two additional leg poles in a separate carry bag are also included.

UNIQUE POINT OF DIFFERENCE
The Eclipse 180° Awning hinges from two sides and runs 6m along the side of the vehicle.

MOUNTING ORIENTATION & ROOF RACK COMPATIBILITY
The Eclipse 180° Awning can be mounted on either side of the vehicle. Mounting brackets are included and will accommodate most commercially available steel basket and flat rack set ups.

ADDITIONAL WALL USAGE
With the use of Darche’s Telescopic Alloy Poles 90-230cm (sold separately), the wall is also designed to be used as an additional extendible awning.

FREE-STANDING FUNCTIONALITY
It is designed to be a free-stander to aid in set up and pack down only, however we recommend that it is pegged down at all times. It has a large surface area, meaning sudden wind gusts could become hazardous. The Darche Eclipse 180° Awning has been designed for general camping use under normal conditions. Always ensure all guy ropes are anchored correctly. It may be necessary to re-adjust guy ropes and pegs at times to maintain the structural integrity of the awning.
Note: To avoid chances of personal injury and or property damage, Darche highly recommends the Eclipse 180° Awning should NOT be erected during windy conditions. Damage caused by wind and/or adverse weather will not be covered under warranty.

ONE-PERSON SETUP
The Eclipse 180° Awning is designed as a simple 1 person set up and pack down. Inclement weather may require the assistance of another person.

WATER RUN-OFF
Included guy ropes need to be fixed between rafters to create a water run off valley.
