Choosing a performance chip

A performance chip, sometimes called a diesel tuning module, adjusts the signals your engine management uses so a turbo diesel delivers stronger throttle response and torque through the rev range. The critical part is matching the chip to your exact engine, because modules are calibrated for a specific make, model and engine rather than being one size fits all.
