Hardkorr’s 270 degree awning is free standing, lightweight and incredibly durable. With a wind rating of 30 knots without leg poles, you can be sure this awning will survive our tough Australian conditions whether you’re at the beach or out in the country.
Hardkorr’s 270 degree awning is free standing, lightweight and of course like all our products, incredibly durable. A super easy, one person set up will have you under shelter quicker than Brocky on Mt Panorama. With a wind rating of 30 knots and a 12 month warranty, you can be sure this awning will survive our tough Australian conditions whether you’re at the beach or out in the country.
The kit includes 1 built in leg for when needed, and there are additional leg mounting points included allowing you to add extra legs if required. There are also 2 ratchet-style ropes for securing the awning at each end, tie down points to create gutters for water run off, two powder coated L-brackets for mounting to a roof rack and 306 grade stainless steel nuts and bolts. A lightweight 28 kg makes install an easy proposition.
The primary purpose of our Awnings is to provide sun shade, rather than being suitable for heavy rain events. Although our Awnings are crafted from water-resistant materials, they are not completely waterproof. It’s crucial to bear in mind that in instances of severe weather conditions or heavy rain, we suggest taking the necessary steps to safeguard your Awning and belongings. Always exercise caution and adhere to the suggested instructions for the installation and use of our Awnings to ensure a satisfactory experience.
This awning gives you a market-leading total coverage of 13.5 m2, which is more than enough shelter from sun and rain for you and your whole family or crew. Aluminium square tube framing and arms adds strength without unnecessary weight.
The hinge design is over-engineered to ensure it does not sag or fly upwards even in windy conditions (up to 30kn) – something that many other awnings struggle with. This means our 270 degree awning is truly free standing, to give you more freedom and space while relaxing around camp.
Finally, our seam-sealed 600D ripstop Polyester Canvas has a UPF50+ sun protection rating.
