Choose your suspension

Foam Cell, 40mm Adjustable or TD-R Pro remote-reservoir suspension, with matched front coils and rear leaf springs. Choose no/alloy bullbar, steel bullbar or bullbar and winch, then your rear load.

Complete fitted package

Two front struts and coils, two rear shocks, two rear leaf springs, U-bolt kits, bushes, greasable pins and shackles. 300 kg+ and 500 kg+ kits include the handbrake relocation kit. Foam Cell and Adjustable struts are assembled during fitting, reusing serviceable original top mounts; TD-R Pro includes complete front assemblies.

Optional TDCA-009 upper control arms add $800, with fitting included. Arms are optional for all three ranges, including TD-R Pro.

Fitment

Mazda BT-50 TF, August 2020 onwards, 4WD only. Nominal front/rear lift 40 mm. Excludes earlier UP/UR models and 2WD.

Choose springs for the weight carried regularly, including permanent accessories. Actual lift varies with load. Spring load ratings do not increase legal carrying capacity; this is not a certified GVM upgrade. Confirm build date and existing modifications before fitting.

Know before you buy

Before you buy a lift kit

A suspension kit changes ride height, how the vehicle carries weight and how its safety systems behave. Victoria has clear limits on how high you can go without engineering.

  1. How much lift is legal

Nationally, up to 50 mm total with no certificate. In Victoria an off-road 4WD can go to 75 mm (50 mm suspension plus 25 mm of tyre radius) with a kit designed and tested for that vehicle, and you keep the kit maker's written statement (VSI 8).

  2. Tyres count

Bigger tyres add to the lift. A 4WD can go up to 50 mm larger in diameter if the tyres stay inside the guards and don't rub, and the speedo must stay accurate.

  3. Match it to your load

Choose springs for what the vehicle really carries: bar, winch, drawers, water and touring gear. A kit set up for an empty vehicle will sag under a full touring load.

  4. Stability control

A lift must not affect electronic stability control, and the ESC unit must never be disconnected. Airbag suspension needs a VASS certificate in Victoria (VSI 8).

Common questions

How much can I legally lift my 4WD in Victoria?

Up to 50 mm in total (suspension, body blocks and tyres combined) needs no certificate. Off-road 4WDs can go to 75 mm: 50 mm of suspension plus up to 25 mm extra tyre radius, using a commercially available kit designed and tested for that vehicle at that height, fitted to instructions, with the kit maker's written statement kept by the owner (VSI 8). More than that needs a VASS signatory.

Do bigger tyres count towards the lift?

Yes. Tyre size adds to total height. On a 4WD, tyres can be up to 50 mm larger in diameter than the largest option the vehicle maker lists, provided they stay within the guards and don't foul anything (VSB 14 Section LS, VSI 8).

Does a lift kit increase my GVM?

No. A lift kit changes ride height and load handling, but your legal GVM only changes with a certified GVM upgrade.

Will a lift affect stability control and driver-assist systems?

It can. Victoria requires evidence that electronic stability control isn't affected, and a modification that stops systems like emergency braking or lane support working isn't acceptable (VSI 8). Ask us about your model before you buy.

My springs have sagged. Is replacing them a modification?

No. Restoring the vehicle to its original ride height is maintenance, not a modification (VSI 8).
